Scott Mears first became involved with Ukandu in 2022 as a volunteer during the inaugural year of Ukandu Corps. Scott helped to facilitate the group of teens as they learned about community service and ultimately planned and executed a project of their own. 

Since then, Scott has been involved with Ukandu every year. He is also serving as Ukandu’s Representative for the buildout of The Loft, a critical role that brings tremendous value and draws on decades of experience. With Scott on board as a skilled advisor, our staff and board of directors can have confidence in the construction and build out process of The Loft. 

This year, Scott’s company, Mears Construction Project Management, is a Gold Level Sponsor for Ukandu’s Wine & Dine for Hope & Joy. Scott's dedication to our cause, demonstrated through both his tireless volunteer work and his generous financial contributions, has been invaluable to our organization.
