Qualification
Patients, and siblings of patients, ages 8–18
Each summer, 132 children who have experienced a childhood cancer diagnosis and their siblings spend a week together, along with 110+ volunteers, playing games, climbing rock walls, riding horses, and 'just being kids!' Camp Ukandu is a place where kids can grow and play; laugh and cry; and build what are, quite literally, experiences and memories of a lifetime.

What to Expect
Camp Ukandu is packed full of outrageously fun activities from rock climbing to s'mores making. Whether you're missing a limb or have never been to camp before, everyone can participate!
Art and Weaving
Bring out your inner artist with weaving, painting, and more!
Games
Join a game of 'gaga ball,' 'pin knock down,' or 'sprout ball!'
Ropes Course
Challenge yourself on zip lines, rock wall, and other fun ropes course activities!
Archery
Try your hand at archery and see if you can get a bullseye!
Campfire
Experience special traditions, singing, skits, and most importantly - s'mores!

Camp Ukandu is a medically supervised camp with 4 pediatric oncology nurses and 1 pediatric oncology provider on-site 24 hours a day through the full week of camp. This allows campers in active treatment to safely attend camp, while also having access to highly qualified nurses and providers.
