We made the tough decision of not having our annual Wine & Dine fundraising event this year, due to wanting the safety of our community members during COVID-19. We hope to be able to get together in some form, whether virtual or in person, in the spirit of this annual event. Stay tuned for information on UKANDU’s 2021 fundraising events.
Join UKANDU for an epicurean adventure featuring some of the region's elite chefs and premier wineries. The Wine & Dine for Hope & Joy is an event like no other. This sophisticated but decidedly un-stuffy affair encourages attendees to interact with our chefs and wine-makers up close. Each chef will share their signature recipes and winery representatives will regale you with the tasting notes and viticultural details of their wines allowing you to walk away feeling like a sommelier.
This is a mix and mingle event which allows revelers to visit all twenty food and wine booths, or return to your favorite spot for unlimited generous sips and hearty bites. Join friends in listening to live entertainment or introduce yourself to UKANDU staff, board members, and volunteers. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from those who have attended our programming and learn why they refer to us as their “UKANDU Family”.
Past participants include Portland’s premier chefs and restaurants, Vitale Paley’s Rosa Rosa, John Gorham’s Toro Bravo, Q Restaurant and Bar, Eem, Mediterranean Exploration Company, LeChon, Il Solito, Nuestra Cocina, Tanner Creek, Eem, and Nel Centro. Featured wineries have included Domain Drouhin, Winderlea, Soter, Walter Scott, Flaneur, Argyle, Kelly Fox Wines, St. Innocent Winery, R. Stuart Wines, and Illahe.
