At UKANDU, we believe it's a privilege to serve
UKANDU is, first and foremost, a volunteer-driven organization. We're so grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to providing families impacted by childhood and adolescent cancer hope, joy, and connection.
Our programs are 100% free of charge to the families we serve - something that can only be accomplished with the help of over 200+ volunteers that make our two, week-long, residential camps and other year round programs possible.

Hear From Our Volunteers
UKANDU volunteers really are one, big, wacky, family. Our volunteers commit their time, talent, and energy each year whether it's with outrageous skits at campfire, staying in a cabin during a week of camp, serving on our leadership team or board of directors, helping execute our two fundraising events, or delivering supplies to participants houses for our virtual events.
It's not an exaggeration to say we wouldn't be able to do what we do without our volunteers! If this sounds like you or something you want to be apart of you can express interest in volunteer opportunities here or reach out to our Program Director, Robin Emerick (Bluebird) with any questions!
