UKANDU Annual Golf Tournament graphic for website2

This year, in light of COVID-19, UKANDU pivoted from its annual Golf Tournament to a virtual Golf Challenge, in which participants could participate at any golf course or courses. This allowed the event to be more accessible and safer during these times. Thank you to everyone who participated in UKANDU’s 2020 Golf Challenge! Stay tuned for information on UKANDU’s 2021 fundraising events.

You are invited to help support this wonderful camp in our third decade of bringing “normal” childhood experiences to children and families who may have missed them due to their medical circumstances. CAMP UKANDU offers what many other summer camps offer – archery, horseback riding, a climbing wall, swimming, skits, campfires and so much more. What makes us unique is that everyone at camp is touched by cancer.

Our campers are patients and their siblings, ages 8-18, each navigating the individual challenges that come when a family faces the rigors of cancer. Parents and kids alike are comforted in knowing that there is medical staff in place, 24/7, to address the special needs of this amazing group of children. In an environment where being bald or having a missing limb is unremarkable, these kids don't stand out and are free to just be kids.

Camp is 100% free to all campers and families. With only one paid employee, we rely on donations and a volunteer staff to support this youthful rite of passage, that may otherwise be impossible for these kids without CAMP UKANDU.

You may participate in four ways: Become a Sponsor, golf and dinner tickets, as well as cash donations.

*We are also looking for specialty items for our silent auction. Ideal items would include: Golf Clubs; Golf Gear; Rounds of Golf at various courses; Travel Packages and other premium goods and services.

If you would like to donate an item or package for the Silent Auction, please contact our golf committee at [email protected]org
